Bill and Marianne found their love for sand sculpting in 2001 when they began competing in amateur contests. After winning several 1st, 2nd, 3rd, peoples choice, judges choice they became professional sculptors in 2006. Combining their vast corporate business experience with sand sculpting provides them the business side of working with clients. Together they have created over 400 commisioned sand sculptures and managed over 40 major sand sculpting events like; The Blue water SandFest, the American Sand Sculpting Championship and the Signing Sands Sand sculpting festival. They have been featured or appeared on television shows, in magazines and many, many news articles. In 2011, along with the Director of the World Championship of Sand Sculpting; they managed the World Championship of Sand Sculpting on Fort Myers Beach, a first time for this event on an American Beach.

Along with his sand sculpting experience, Bill has over 25 years experience in the corporate world, working as an executive for companies such as The Department of Defense and La-Z-Boy. He left a position as Town Manager to fulfill his dream of being a full time sand sculptor. He is a 20 year Army veteran and is certified and educated in logistics and project management. Bill has extensive experience in dealing with permitting, utilities and logistics at the local, state and federal levels. Along with hundreds of commercial sand sculptures, he has worked on sand sculpting projects exceeding 1000 tons of sand

Before becoming a professional sand sculptor Marianne spent 20 years in the corporate world and has an extensive background in material handling, event management, customer service and business operations. She has worked on sand sculpting projects exceeding 1000 tons of sand and managed the largest sand sculpting event held in the state of Florida.
